Thanks to Pinterest I found a new way to plant seedlings without having to buy new miniature pots. I took Sunday's newspaper and rolled it around a can of soup to create a small cup. We filled those with dirt and then the seeds. Samuel was very happy to help because he got to play in the dirt. I love that I can simply plant these cups straight into the soil and the newspaper will decompose and we will have some delicious veggies. This fall we are planting broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, bibb letttuce and spinach, and cucumbers. Here's hoping our fall garden will produce more than our summer one did!
