Dunes Village 2014

The Cowan family headed to Myrtle Beach for a fun weekend of family, water parks and lots of game playing and olympic watching.  The kids had a great time, we got to spend time with our soon to be new aunt and cousin and played hard all day!  

Valentines Day and Henry was dressed in his tuxedo-very handsome!

Not exaggerating here-we threw Samuel and Henry back and forth for about 30 minutes.  They loved it and I got quite the arm workout...a win win in my book!

We are working on ways to help Samuel writing his letters and trying to make it fun.  We pulled out a bunch of stickers and red paper and made some valentines for some of our favorite people.  Samuel told me what he loved about each of these special people and then signed his name on each one!  

Snowed In round 2

We got a small ice storm this week that froze the trees, but thankfully stayed off the roads.  Lots of tree limbs fallen which meant power outages all around.  We kept our power, but many others didn't.  This time to fight the stir craziness that comes from being stuck inside we invited some friends over to decorate cookies and play.  It was nice to enjoy being with others and be thankful for a fun lovely holiday!
