Go Bulldogs!

First of all, I know many of you may be thinking...Grace would NEVER utter such horrible words! Well, don't you worry...I haven't gone over to the dark side of the UGA bulldogs! I am referring the the MSU bulldogs. Ryan's parents are diehard MSU fans and we thought this would be a nice tribute to them! Hope you all enjoy!

a few more

Just a few more pictures of the homemade veggies!

Homemade veggies

When Samuel started eating baby food we had a stockpile of baby food we had gotten for free thanks to our coupons and sales at the grocery store. A couple weeks ago I decided (since we were getting low on our stock) that I would try my hand at making my own. I sought out advice from several friends that made their own and I quickly got all my stuff together. I made mixed veggies and green beans. Below is a video of Samuel's reaction! Priceless since he has LOVED everything we have given him thus far!

Just another Thursday

Our little man is so close to crawling, but for now he is content to turn himself around in circles. I was making dinner today and Ryan was helping me, so we put him on his playmat and he just chilled and played the whole time! We are so thankful we have such a content child!

Chick-fil-A's newest employee

This past Saturday I went to work and walk around the mall with the cow. We decided that Samuel would start his CFA career early so we dressed him in his new uniform and got him ready for a busy day! When we got to the store Samuel helped me do some paperwork in the office, dress the cow and pass out coupons to kids in the mall! He giggled and wiggled the whole time, it was so funny! All the adults in the mall thought he was too cute and were more excited about him than the cow! I think he has quite a career ahead of him!

He's Got Style!

Samuel's hair has gotten so long and after bath time we decided to play with it a little. I think this is going to be the new everyday do! What do you think?

Our little Praise baby!

I asked for some Praise Baby DVDs for Samuel for Christmas and my mom delivered! We were given one from some sweet friends right when Samuel was born and he LOVES it. They are great because they keep his attention and give me about 30 minutes to get some stuff done. I try to put one in maybe once or twice a week and they are the best 30 minutes of Samuel's day. As you will see he is in his bouncer...which he loves and is NEVER still, except when he is watching his PB. It brings me a lot of joy to see him enjoying the video and also hearing praise songs, I hope he soaks in the words and will sing them as he gets older! Thanks mom (and Joe and Abby)!

Some tummy time

Samuel had his 6 month check-up on Monday and is growing well! He is in the 50 percentile on height and weight and is overall VERY healthy! We were playing on the floor the other day and I took some pictures to send to Ryan while he was in Atlanta. Samuel is really enjoying playing and semi-scooting around on the floor...I don't think it will be too long before he is up on all four crawling!

I'm leavin on a jet plane

Well, actually it was a sesna, but that doesn't sound as catchy! For my Christmas gift, Ryan gave me a flight around town. In the back of my mind I knew he was going to enjoy this just as much (if not more) than I was going to! We went up last Tuesday and it was really cool. We flew out of the Wilmington airport and flew straight to Wrightsville beach. We flew along the coast all the way to Bald Head Island. We made sure to do a quick flyby over our new house to say hello to John and Samuel! We really had a great time getting a different perspective of our new home! Thanks Ryan for always finding a fun way to show me you love me!

Us at the end of the flight, I was feeling a little woozie!
Ryan in control, me holding on for dear life!
Wrightsville Beach. Our favorite spot is the end of the beach where there aren't any condos or houses! Just wide open beaches, lots of shells, and many people to watch!
Our house is the one to the left of the house with the pool. We've got a big backyard and no trees...at least not yet!
