New Hat

Charlie loves to hold "his baby" and most of the time Henry is happy to oblige.  Here Charlie is testing out Henry's paci.

BeBe got Charlie the cutest hat!  he loves it and wears it all the time.  He's so dapper!

Train Tracks

Samuel has a train table but it takes up a great amount of space in his room.  We decided to put his train tracks into a basket and keep it in the family room.  It has certainly leant itself to many days of making "the longest train track in the whole world".  The boys love it and it does keep them entertained for quite a long time!

The many faces of Henry

Charlie LOVES to love on his "baby", though we are still working on loving gently.  It warms my heart that he loves his little brother so much!

Later that night Charlie decided to climb in the train basket.  I have a picture of Samuel about this age doing the same thing!  They are so cute!

Monkey see monkey do...though usually it happens the other way around!

My Super Heros

Pajama Day

We had a long night last night and no where we needed to be today so the boys and I decided it would be a good idea to have a pajama day (or as Samuel says "pananajama day").  We made pancakes and hot chocolate, the boys watched a movie while I folded laundry and then we played in the backyard a bit.  Once Charlie went down for his nap Samuel and I "glittered"-basically we drew with glue on some paper and sprinkled glitter all over!  It's the little things in life that make it so much fun!

I asked Samuel to look at me and smile and he said he couldn't because he needed to concentrate!

Carving our Jack O'Lantern

Samuel was so excited to carve his pumpkin to make a Jack O'lantern.  He wanted the pumpkin to have a "mean face" so that he would scare the bad guys away.  He and Ryan had a great time drawing out their ideas, carving the pumpkin and getting out the "ooie gooie". Charlie protected Henry and shared his toys the whole time.

After carving it was bat time and then the boys wanted to hold their brother.  They were sweet and did a great job taking turns holding Henry.

Kite Festival

The Cape Fear Kite Festival was here this past weekend and it was great.  Samuel had a blast running under the kites and Charlie was a little leery.  Henry was content and slept through the whole thing!  It was a beautiful day and we all had a great time!

Henry's First Trip Out

Of course we had to keep with tradition and let Henry's first trip out be to the beach, we want to raise our boys right by the way!  We went down to Kure Beach to play on the playground and then head to the beach.  Fun was had by all and Henry even loved soaking up the sound of the waves and the rays of the sun!
