Charlie having some fun

Playing in Savannah

Charlie and I had a good time in Savannah with our friends. It was a tiring week since we spent a lot of our time packing and organizing, but it was great to be able to help Erica, Daniel and Jacob with their move...I'd do anything to get them closer to Wilmington!

Playing on the bed after a good breakfast
Sleeping so peacefully! I would too on those cute little whales!
Jacob and Charlie hanging out in the crib watching the mobil as Erica and I pack up stuff

Going to Savannah

Charlie and I flew to Savannah just one day after coming home from Orlando and Atlanta. Our dear friends, Erica and Daniel and their baby Jacob, were getting ready for a big move to Raleigh, NC. Charlie and I went to help them pack up and drive one of their cars up to NC. We had a LONG trip there and spent a great deal of time in the Atlanta airport, but we eventually got there. Here is my sweet boy after our trip!

Atlanta with the Powells

Monkey Joes is one of Samuel's favorite places. It was an overcast day so we took the kids to meet some of our friends and play a bit. Samuel had a great time playing with Grandaddy, Charlie loved being passed around, and Ryan and I had a great time catching up with friends!

Grandaddy certainly knows how to make me laugh!

I think she likes him!

Atlanta with the Cowans

While we were in Atlanta we spent a great day with the Cowan clan. We went downtown to a cool park, had lunch at Zach's house and then spent the afternoon and evening with Grandmommie. Fun was definitely had by all!

Uncle Stephen and Charlie, he was definitely feeling the love!

Charlie did a lot of snoozing with Uncle Stephen. He definitely had the touch when it came to getting this sweet little guy to sleep.

Charlie and his 2nd cousin Elynn. She is about 6 weeks older than Charlie, he is a big guy!!!

Universal Studios

When in Orlando we were able to hop on over to Universal and spend the day with our good friends Mark and Rebecca. We had a great time catching up, riding roller coasters, getting a quick run down of Harry Potter so we could really enjoy Harry Potter World, and realizing how much we love and miss our friends-they live too far away! It was ABSOLUTELY FREEZING that when we got there none of the roller coasters were working, it had to be 40 degrees for them to run. That's right, we were in Florida both trying to escape the cold and it didn't get above 40 until about noon! We really had a great time, can't wait to get together again soon!

Sea World

We spent Wednesday at Sea World before we headed towards Atlanta. It was super hot, of course-it's Florida! We had a great time going to the shows, touching the sting rays, seeing the sharks and dolphins and walking around.

Poor guy volunteered. Just before he got splashed!
The HUGE walrus at the end of the Clyde and Seamore Seal show! Samuel loved it because it was all about pirates. He kept yelling "jump the plank" and "land hoooo". We love our little pirate!
"wagging" their tails!
Clyde and Seamore were spinning around
Samuel loved the whole show. He kept yelling "arrrgh" the whole time!
Charlie was super chill the whole time!
Samuel was counting the fish. Every time he would get to eight he would start over!
Charlie was captivated by the sharks, can't you tell!
Samuel and Daddy in the shark tank
Leopard shark
This school of fish just swam around and around in a circle the whole time we were there.

Really hard to see, but there is a HUGE ray in there. It's tail is at least 8 feet long!
I went to get some water and this is what I came back to! I love that Ryan will get Samuel to do almost anything. He is an amazing dad, and Samuel just adores him!
Each time Samuel would touch the sting ray he would scream with delight "I touch it mommy! I touch it daddy!"
Ryan almost grabbed the ray out of the water!
Proof that I was there. The sting rays were super slimy but kind of furry too.
Completely worn out from a great day!
Sweet boy was asleep before we could even get the door closed!

Ice Cream with Sprinkles

Downtown Disney has an AMAZING Ghiradelli chocolate store where the hand you a chocolate square as you enter the store, delicious! They also have an ice cream shoppe next door. After walking around we decided to treat ourselves to a little ice cream. Samuel got a HUGE chocolate ice cream with sprinkles! He loved the chocolate ice cream, not so much the sprinkles. BeBe tried to get the sprinkles off the top and as she did this we realized that the sprinkles were throughout the ice cream. Sorry bud, we'll know better next time-this kid doesn't like sprinkles! What kid doesn't like sprinkles???
