Playing in the Rain

We had a huge amount of rain several days in a row.  Our neighborhood roads tend to flood when we get a lot of rain in a very short amount of time.  The kids had a blast playing in the rain and the neighbors were very entertained by Samuel kayaking through the giant puddles/lakes formed in the roads!

July flew by like a whirlwind.  I didn't take many pictures with my real camera but got a bunch on my phone.

Samuel and Daddy went on a special big guys night to Kure beach.  They went to Britts donuts, the arcade and even watched some fireworks!

 BeBe came to visit and we went to 9 Bakery for some yummy breakfast.  They make their own donuts, and you know my boys LOVE them some donuts!

The boys were getting a little antsy at the restaurant so we walked down to the river.  Charlie is styling and profiling in 2 different shoes, well because that is what he put in the car to wear!

 Charlie and I waiting for the bus to come and drop Samuel off from his summer program.  I was super anxious and Charlie was happy to be playing Legos.

The boys LOVE being in the water and we spent a lot of time in our neighbors pool.  So fun to see Samuel swimming wonderfully and Charlie getting more adventurous in his swimming.

St. Simons Island

We had a great time again with the Cowan family at St. Simon's Island, Ga.  We went out on the kayaks every day, played in the ocean and even got a chance to go out-just the adults!  A trip we look forward to every year!

Henry's Baptism

Most of the family was with us to celebrate Henrys' baptism and it was such a special day.  We are thankful for a church that values walking alongside us as we grow our family, promising to encourage us and hold us accountable to walk in the way God calls us to.

Samuel's 5th birthday

Samuel started getting into legos this summer and we decided a Lego theme was appropriate!  I worked hard for a few weeks to pull all the little details together and we all had a great time.  I found a lot of my ideas online-the pinatas, cake and even Lego goodie bags!  It was hot but we had a blast.  I am so thankful for my kind, spunky, full of life Samuel buddy!  He certainly makes every day so much fun!
