To Raleigh we Go!

Samuel got to bring home Isaac, the class bear, for the weekend.  We had a trip to Raleigh already planned so he joined us and we all had a great time!

The weekend started with popsicles on the front porch as we waited for daddy to get home to help pack the car.

The boys waiting to get on the carousel at Pullen Park.

The boys and their first ride on a carousel.  Charlie was a little timid at first, but he just kept saying "weeeee, go faster" and was very sad when it was over!

Isaac joined us at the Raleigh Farmers Market to get some veggie plants for our garden.

We all even went for a little hike and wade in the creek at the park (well the boys played in the water and Erica and I entertained Henry)

Isaac LOVED picking strawberries to go with daddy's birthday cake.

Jesus is Alive!

For about a week any time I asked Charlie what was happening on Sunday he would start singing, "Jesus Alive" at the top of his lungs.  What a joy I have in Jesus and know that he came to save me from my sins that I am helpless to save myself from.  I am so thankful that my kids know the reason we celebrate Easter and I hope they find the same joy and excitement that this holiday means that we can spend eternity with our LORD and SAVIOR!

BeBe and Grandmommie come to visit

BeBe and Grandmommie came for Easter and we really had a great time.  We always love when they are here and they always bring fun things to do with them!

Charlie had 3 bowls of cereal and decided he needed to help BeBe finish hers!

Grandmommie brought an Easter sheep project and the kids loved it.  We are so thankful for her love for art and that she shares it with the boys!

The Easter Bunny brought Samuel some legos and bubble gum.  He was pretty excited!

You can just imagine him saying "whoa" here…he was super excited about his bubbles and candy.

Easter tradition is Krispy Kreme donuts for breakfast.  The kids LOVE it!

My little photographer

Samuel always asks to take pictures so I let him have the camera for about 5 minutes this afternoon.  He literally took 728 pictures in that 5 minutes!  Below are a a few of the "good" ones!

(I took this one, but had to capture his pride in ALL the pictures he took!)

Our Sunday Finest

The younger two have some really cute spring suits so I had to get them dressed up and take some pics.  There were so many great/cute/funny/crazy pictures I had to pick them all!
