We have had some fun times as a family of 5 and we also enjoy some down time at home! Henry certainly is fitting into our family so well and his older brothers are so excited about him! Life isn't extravagant but it sure is fun!
Happy New Years
Ryan and I got to celebrate the new year with some great friends. We had a pajama party which was so great to just be comfy and enjoy good company! Happy 2013 and welcome 2014 and all the excitement I am sure it is to bring!
My Best Friends Wedding
My best friend, Laura, got married just after Christmas. Henry and I flew and met my mom in Atlanta and then Ryan joined us the following day. We had a great time in Memphis doing a few touristy things and also just spending time with Laura and Alex as they prepare to start their lives together! I am so excited for here, the wedding was beautiful and so very special! I am so thankful for such an amazing man to take care of such an amazing woman!
Christmas Morning
We had a quiet morning this year with. Alan, Ryan's dad, and John, my brother, were with us on Christmas morning. The kids had f un digging through their stockings and loading up on chocolate before breakfast. We had a great time playing with toys and exploring our new gifts! This is such a fun age.
A few more Christmas Activities
We tried to do some fun Christmas activities this season with the boys! The model train organization put together a great train show and the boys LOVED it! Samuel even got to control a few trains along the tracks! This is definitely something we will enjoy doing at Christmas from now on!
We also went to Enchanted Airlie with our friends. It was a warm day and didn't feel super wintery but we had fun nonetheless! Samuel enjoyed climbing the trees as we waited in line to see Santa. We also loved walking through the lights and seeing all the fun decorations. Another great tradition we will continue!
